26 May Cat’s Hostel Madrid’s Patio
Meet our 18th Century patio (Spanish word for enclosed courtyard). It is, by far, our hostel’s pride and joy. Within our walls, we hold a piece of History and a very typical Spanish architectural feature.
In the old times, the Muslims and Romans over the Mediterranean countries shared this wonderful tradition of building an inner garden where to cool off during the warmest season. It was also place for celebrations, theatre plays, sexy dances, and so much more…
At Cat’s Hostel, we don’t want to lose that beautiful tradition and we celebrate our famous Sangría pary every year, where we fill up our ancient fountain with another traditional thing… SANGRÍA!. You can’t miss it next time you come to Madrid!
